Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius, and salinity is measured as:

Specific Gravity: 1.001-1.043

PPT: 0-50PPT

PSU (Practical Salinity Unit): 0-60g/kg

The readings are measured within seconds and displayed on an easy to read illuminated LCD screen. No more holding up a sight glass to the light, or waiting for s swing arm or float to stabilize! Each Refractometer includes a calibration solution and sampling cup, as well as batteries.
